The new machinery for rigid hoses and hose connection

Idraulica Pedroncelli is pleased to announce theexpansion of its fleet with the addition of new, state-of-the-art equipment, which will allow the production of rigid pipes and their connection with hoses it is the PROVAR 6-45 U-D pipe bender of the Macri Italia company.

New PROVAR 6-45 U-D automatic pipe bender: features and functionality

The PROVAR 6-45 U-D prepared 4.0 is a fully automatic professional pipe bending machine 6-axis:

• Y-axis - curvature;
• X-axis - feed;
• Z-axis - rotation;
• B1 and B2 axes - lateral displacement of positioner and spindle;
• A-axis - up-down displacement of the head.

The number 45 instead indicates that the machine is capable of bending pipes with a maximum diameter of 45 millimetres iron or stainless steel (up to 54 millimetres for copper pipes), and also provides for a triple level of equipment (fixed radius, variable radius and combined) or three different fixed radii.

Enhancing the new pipe bender is the standard supply - mounted on the machine - of a heat exchanger, early spindle extraction and automatic spindle lubrication. In addition, the PROVAR 6-45 U-D features:

• useful rod insertion of 5800 mm;
• provision for pipe-measuring arm;
• mobile slide holder;
• anti-wrinkle tile support;
• compression system;
• safety mat;
• over 15 source matrices in order to cover all the diameter and thickness ranges most frequently used by our customers, with the possibility of quickly constructing matrices and supports to meet any new requirements that may be submitted to us by customers.

Already highly specialised in everything related to the fluid dynamics - from the internal or on-site hose and hose assembly with mobile department up to pipe testing and the flushing , - Idraulica Pedroncelli has decided to further refine its service, equipping itself with a machine capable of translating designs from digital format to reality in order to obtain unbeatable rigid piping from the point of view of precision. Adding then a considerable increase in the speed of pipe making compared to traditional techniques and the possibility of replicate the same type of pipework ad infinitum while maintaining all the features and dimensions of the first model completely unchanged, we can state that the new PROVAR 6-45 U-D tube bender constitutes an epoch-making breakthrough in the making and bending the rigid tube.

In this last period the need for speed up orders and realisations is driving customers to demand more and more turnkey solutions: in this context, being able to rely on a supplier capable of delivering from shaped and headed rigid tube to the flexible element being able to test and flux them at the same time is a major advantage. The new tube bending machine is set up to automate this process, so that the fast and accurate production but the presence of technical staff however, remains an essential prerogative to ensure that everything conforms to specifications. It is precisely for this reason that our staff has followed an appropriate training in the use of the tube bender taken care of directly by the machine manufacturer and its technicians.

The investment in this new equipment represents the closing of the circle for Pedroncelli's hose assembly service, which already has a Nuts and rings fitting machine (DIN/JIC) and a WALFORM cold forming machine.
