New at Pedroncelli: the Walform M-WF385Xplus machine is now available to our technicians!

The Walform M-WF385Xplus preforming machine is used for cold forming of steel and stainless steel high-pressure hose ends.

Deformation allows for a metric tube-to-DIN connection as an alternative to traditional cutting-ring and tang-welded connection methods.

By deforming the tube with the help of the corresponding die, a profile identical to that of the cutting ring or solder tang is obtained, but with a greater guarantee of tightness, since

-offers lasting functional reliability even under high dynamic pressure pulses and vibration loads;

-avoids both under- and over-tightening, the most frequent causes of failure in cutting-ring sealing systems;

-avoids the presence of welds on the pipe;

-does not require any special certification or licensing for the operator, unlike the tang-welded sealing system.

Once the deformation has been performed on the pipe, an o-ring must be applied to the profile of the deformed end to complete the seal.

Pedroncelli has a set of clamping jaws and dies, supplied with the machine, with which it is possible to achieve the desired DIN metric pipe coupling deformation.
