Revamping of hydraulic piping in industrial emulsion plant

Idraulica Pedroncelli has recently carried out a substantial revamping (learn more about revamping) for an oil emulsion plant at an important company in the aluminium rolling.

The operations carried out resulted in efficiency and performance improvements as the previous installation was outdated, inefficient and much of the piping, both rigid and flexible, had deteriorated.

Improvements made:

• replacement of rigid piping present with appropriately bent and shaped 316 stainless steel tubing
• insertion of a protective silicone glass sheath (red) in all assembled connecting hoses suitable for protection against high working temperatures
• installation of new castings for emulsion on the steel bars already present in the old system (appropriately cleaned and washed with a professional high-pressure cleaner)

Testing of the system was carried out for each individual casting.
